Bodrigpunda Association in the month of July during the birthday of H.H the Dalai Lama, we had organized a Futsal tournament that featured 12 teams from all over Kathmandu valley, the idea behind it was to bring the Himalayan and Tibetan community together in a spirit of sportsmanship, brotherhood and friendship. The tournament was a big success and it proved as a reason for celebration and a get together party for the entire Tibetan youngster in Kathmandu. The tournament was held on Saturday June 18, 23 and 30 June 2012.

Jawalakhel Tibetan Team (Norbulingka Sports Club) won the His Holiness the 14th Dalai Lama’s 77th Birthday Cup Futsal tournament 1-0 won against Yarlung FC.
1. The winning Team Jawalakhel Tibetan Team was awarded NRS 20,000, Individual medal and Trophy
2. Runner Up Yarlung FC was awarded NRS 15000/- and individual medal.
3. Yarlung FC Nyima Tsewang top scorer of this tournament and won a cash prize of Rs. 3500.
Tibetan National football players Mr. Dorjee Tsering, Ngawang Thubten, Karma Norbu, Tsering Dorjee there are chief guest at the final match, and presenting award for winner Team, Runner up and top scorer.
